Director, Cameraman, Editor
At only 15 years of age, Andrew Rozenblat already knew his career path. Born in the small town of Brest, Belarus, Andrew moved to Moscow to study filmmakinfg. Along with his teacher, he created the first student television at Moscow Jewish school №1311, made five documentaries and won many youth festivals. He entered to study the Humanities Institute of Television and Radio broadcasting in Moscow in 2011, where his professional career began. During this time, he worked at top Russian TV channels including First Channel, RTR, NTV, Ren-Tv, TVC. He worked as director, editor and cameraman and continued work as a film teacher in his school. His short documentary film, “The Story of One Uprising”, about the nomadic Tofa people shot in the deep forests of Siberia, screened at many Russian festivals. Andrew worked as an editor and director for over than 30 documentary films for Russian Television including social movies, portraits, investigation and science movies. In January 2012, he decided to make Aliyah and pursue his career in the Israeli film industry. Now he is a part of Chaos Films, based in Tel-Aviv.
