Krav Maga is one of the most important gifts that the state of Israel has given the world. Regardless of physical strength, age or gender, this method allows anyone to defend himself when faced with virtually any violent situation.
Krav Maga – a quick, realistic, unrelenting, pushy and sharp martial art designed not for beauty of motion, but for the sole purpose of self-defense. Although created by a competitive fighter, it is a non-competitive system. While a new style on its own, it also contains a synthesis of a variety of techniques from many different fighting styles (everything from boxing to jiu-jitsu). The ideas behind Krav Maga are simple; confrontation should always be avoided. If this it is not possible or dangerous to subvert the conflict, then Krav Maga dictates that the fight should be finished as quickly as possible. This is achieved through efficient and quick (sometimes pre-emptive) counter attacks and targeting the bodies most vulnerable points. Training focuses on real world situations, achieving maximum efficiency with quickest effort and maintaining awareness of one’s surroundings.
In the late 1990’s and especially after 9/11, Krav Maga spread all around the world. Krav Maga is recognized as one of the best methods for self-defense due to its realistic and practical approach, and easy to learn drills. Additionally, because of its simplicity and effectiveness in the battlefield, armies and special security units all around the world chose Krav Maga for the training of their soldiers.
Our vision is to tell this heroic story to the world, not only because it’s a fascinating story that should be told, but also because we believe that it will bring this simple and effective tool of defense to the hands of our audience.
